When housing multiple FS-PSU modules within a tightly enclosed safety panel, thermal stratification can lead to accelerated component aging. Maintain a minimum vertical spacing clearance of 50 mm above and below the card chassis to permit convection airflow and ensure the ambient local temperature remains below +70 degC.
Always verify feed circuit supply integrity. The input tolerance allows 24 Vdc input variations from -15% to +30%, but keeping the incoming voltage at a stable nominal 24 Vdc optimizes internal regulator efficiency and minimizes excessive heat dissipation within the module's enclosure.
