Description

Facilitate seamless bidirectional data transmission between serial devices and high-level control architectures using the Beckhoff EL6002 EtherCAT terminal. This 2-channel serial communication interface enables the direct connection of up to two serial RS232 devices to the standard EtherCAT network. It integrates smoothly into decentralized systems, permitting flexible configuration of transmission parameters such as baud rate, parity, and stop bits directly via the EtherCAT master controller, eliminating the need for manual DIP switch configurations.
