Operating with a primary interface powered via the internal E-bus and a secondary interface utilizing a dedicated 100 Mbit/s RJ45 physical layer, this terminal bridges process data across separate networks without compromising deterministic system performance.

This bridge module is equipped with advanced Distributed Clocks (DC) support, allowing synchronization of subordinate clocks across network boundaries to a common reference clock. System engineers can configure process image sizes of up to 3 kbytes in each direction, depending on the master capability. The terminal also acts as a network gateway for mailbox protocols, supporting AoE (ADS over EtherCAT), EoE (Ethernet over EtherCAT), FoE (File over EtherCAT), and VoE (Vendor-specific over EtherCAT) transmissions.
