Engineered for high-reliability industrial control applications, the Beckhoff CX5120-0110 is a fanless, compact embedded personal computer designed for direct DIN rail mounting. This controller integrates a power-efficient Intel Atom E3815 single-core processor running at 1.46 GHz, providing stable performance for entry-to-mid-tier automation tasks without active cooling components.

The unit features 2 GB of non-expandable DDR3 RAM and provides storage options through dual onboard CFast and microSD card slots. Equipped with an integrated 1-second UPS, the CX5120-0110 secures 1 MB of persistent data on the CFast card in the event of a sudden power loss, preventing critical system state corruption. Its hardware interface is highly versatile, featuring dual independent RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports, a DVI-D display connector, and four USB 2.0 ports. For direct connection to physical inputs and outputs, the module automatically identifies and communicates with either EtherCAT Terminals (E-bus) or standard Bus Terminals (K-bus) connected to the backplane.
