This unit integrates a complete control system with encoder feedback capabilities within a robust, field-mountable enclosure. It enables decentralized motion control without requiring an electrical cabinet, reducing cabling complexity and space requirements on the machine frame.
The EP7041-2002 provides a comprehensive drive solution, supporting 2-phase stepper motors in both unipolar and bipolar configurations. With integrated 64-fold microstepping technology, it ensures extremely smooth and precise motor operation. The module features an integrated 24 V DC encoder interface, enabling closed-loop position control and travel distance monitoring. Distributed Clocks (DC) support ensures highly precise synchronization with other EtherCAT devices within the automation network.
