3. Initial Boot-up: Power on the Field PG. The Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 operating system is pre-installed and should boot automatically. Follow any on-screen prompts for initial setup if required.
4. Software Setup: While licenses for STEP7 Prof, WinCC Advanced, and STEP 7 Micro/WIN are included, verify their installation status. If not pre-installed, use the provided license keys and media (if applicable) for installation. Note that STEP 5 and STEP 7-Micro/WIN are not pre-installed, and STEP 5 is not executable in Windows 7.
5. MPI Cable Connection: Utilize the included MPI cable for connecting to SIMATIC PLCs. Ensure proper connection to the Field PG's communication port and the PLC's MPI interface.
