Description

Designed for direct field installation without a control cabinet, the Beckhoff EPP3204-0002 serves as an industrial EtherCAT P Box engineered for high-precision temperature and resistance measurement. This robust module features four analog inputs that can be individually configured to interface with various Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs), including Pt100, Pt200, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni120, and Ni1000 sensors. It also supports direct resistance measurements from 10 Ohm up to 4 kOhm, making it suitable for applications utilizing potentiometers and variable resistance transmitters.

Field communication is established using highly integrated M8 connection interfaces carrying EtherCAT P, which combines EtherCAT data and system power into a single cable.
