This EtherCAT terminal enables direct connection of sensors utilizing 4-wire connection technology to ensure maximum measurement accuracy by compensating for cable resistance. Each module is factory-calibrated and delivered with a corresponding calibration certificate, making it suitable for applications requiring strict compliance and traceably accurate temperature logs.
The EL3201-0020 processes signals from various RTD sensor types, including Pt and Ni variants, as well as general resistance measurements. Its integration into the EtherCAT system allows for fast, deterministic communication with the central controller, translating process data directly into a 1 x 32-bit RTD process image. Features such as integrated digital filtering and configurable limit value monitoring allow for flexible adaptation to specific process dynamics.
