Product Description

Description

The Bently Nevada 136703-01 is a 3500/50 Tachometer Monitor I/O module designed for machinery protection and speed measurement applications in hazardous area environments. The 136703-01 provides explosion protection as an intrinsically safe interface connected directly to the 3500 Machinery Protection System backplane and transducer systems.

Features

  • Integrates intrinsically safe internal barriers directly into the 3500 Machinery Protection System rack interface
  • Designed specifically for connection to 3500/50 Tachometer Monitors with internal terminations
  • Preserves system performance without degradation caused by external barriers
  • Provides intrinsically safe earthing connection through the 3500 system backplane via dedicated IS Earthing Module
  • Allows mixed installations of standard and internal barrier I/O module types within the same 3500 rack

Applications

  • Machinery protection and speed monitoring in hazardous process areas
  • Industrial rotating machinery including turbines, compressors, and large pumps
