Installation Guidelines

• Ensure the machine casing is affixed to the bearing to obtain an accurate relative vibration signal.
• Install the outer sleeve into the machine case before inserting the probe sleeve.
• Adjust the probe gap after inserting the probe sleeve.
• Reconnect the probe cable and connector protector prior to sealing the housing cover.
• Tighten hole plug nuts to 0.5 N-m (5 in-lbs) if applicable.
• "C" plus "D" dimension combinations greater than 305 mm (12 in) require additional sleeve support near the probe to prevent resonance.
