Description

330103-00-10-10-01-00: 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe configured with a metric M10 x 1 thread and without mechanical armor. This specific configuration features an unthreaded length of 0 mm (fully threaded case) and an overall case length of 100 mm. Built as a non-contact eddy-current displacement sensor, it provides a 1.0 m total length standard cable terminated with a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector and a factory-installed connector protector, with no hazardous area agency approvals (Option 00) required.

Unlike variants with standard 3/8-24 UNF threads (such as the 330101 series) or those with integrated stainless steel armor (the 330104 series), this probe provides direct metric compatibility for machinery cases tapped for M10 x 1. The inclusion of the connector protector (Option 01) shields the coaxial connection from moisture and physical contamination, making it suitable for direct installation in clean or moderately exposed industrial environments.

Installation Guidelines

• Probe Gap Adjustment: Adjust gap to mid-range (typically 1.27 mm or 50 mils) corresponding to -10 Vdc bias on the Proximitor output for optimum measurement range.
• Thread Engagement: Thread engagement must not exceed 15 mm to avoid physical interference or damage to threads.
• Cable Bend Radius: Maintain a minimum physical bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) along the coaxial cable run.
• Connector Tightening: Ensure the ClickLoc connectors are connected finger-tight, and slide the protector fully over the junction to block moisture and turbine oil.
