Description

The Bently Nevada 136719-01 (part of the 3500/04-01 assembly) is an Earthing I/O Module designed for intrinsically safe (IS) ground reference management within the 3500 Machinery Protection System. Installed directly into the rear of the 3500 system rack, the 136719-01 provides the essential intrinsically safe earth connection through the 3500 system backplane to interface with internal barrier monitor I/O modules. This configuration enables safe, direct interconnection with approved field transducers—such as 3300 XL Proximitor sensors, Velomitor sensors, thermocouples, and RTDs—operating in hazardous environments without requiring external barriers or compromising system performance.

  • Wiring Separation: Route hazardous area field wiring above the 3500 rack and safe area wiring below to maintain a minimum physical separation of 50 mm (2 in).
