Description

The 136180-01+136188-01 combination consists of the 3500/92 Communication Gateway Module main card (136180-01) and the associated Ethernet/RS232 Modbus I/O Module rear card (136188-01). This module set establishes digital communication links between the Bently Nevada 3500 Machinery Protection System and external plant automation platforms.

The gateway collects static measurement data, system event lists, and alarm statuses directly from the 3500 rack backplane and translates the information into standard Modbus protocols. Utilizing the 136188-01 rear I/O card, it offers hardware interfaces for Modbus communication over Ethernet networks and point-to-point RS232 serial connections.
