Description
The 2711P-RP8D is a DC-powered logic module for PanelView Plus 6 700-1500 terminals. It provides the processing, memory, operating system, communication, and storage functions required by the operator interface terminal.
The module attaches to a compatible 700, 1000, 1250, or 1500 display module. The modular construction supports field installation, component replacement, and terminal configuration without replacing the complete operator interface.
The logic module runs FactoryTalk View Machine Edition applications under Windows CE 6.0. It supports FactoryTalk ViewPoint for browser-based access to a running HMI application.
Built-in communication resources include Ethernet, RS-232, and two USB host ports. A separate network interface accepts optional communication modules for additional network connections.
