Installation Guidelines

• Mount the probe with the appropriate probe gap according to your specific 3300 XL Proximitor system calibration standards (typically 1.27 mm / 50 mils nominal gap).
• Ensure the threaded case is secured inside the mounting bracket so that thread engagement does not exceed maximum allowable limits (0.563 in maximum engagement for 3/8-24 thread).
• Route the standard probe cable using proper shielding, grounding, and conduit practices to avoid electromagnetic interference or physical abrasion against the bearing housing.
• Do not expose the probe tip or casing to extreme chemical solutions (very low or high pH) to prevent degradation of the integrated Viton O-ring pressure seal.
