Installation Guidelines

• The probe must be installed with a nominal gap corresponding to the midpoint of the linear range, typically 1.27 mm (50 mils) or -10.0 Vdc.
• Do not exceed the maximum M10 x 1 thread engagement limit of 15 mm. Exceeding this limit can cause mechanical binding during installation.
• Maintain a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) for the armored coaxial cable to avoid structural damage to the internal conductor.
• The probe case must be isolated from the machine ground. Ensure the extension cable shield is properly terminated at the Proximitor sensor ground connection.
• Gold-plated ClickLoc connectors must be tightened finger tight only. Do not use pliers or wrenches on gold ClickLoc connections.
