Product Description

Description

The Bently Nevada 3500/42M 176449-02+128229-01 is a four-channel Proximitor Seismic Monitor designed for machinery protection by continuously comparing monitored vibration and position parameters against configured alarm setpoints. The system consists of the 3500/42M main monitor board (176449-02) and the Prox/Seismic I/O module with internal terminations (128229-01). Channels are programmed in pairs using 3500 Rack Configuration Software to perform up to two functions simultaneously, including radial vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, eccentricity, REBAM, acceleration, velocity, shaft absolute, and circular acceptance region. The module processes signal inputs from proximity, velocity, or acceleration transducers, providing continuous parameter conditioning and driving alert and danger alarms.

Features

  • Four-channel signal conditioning accepting proximity, velocity, or acceleration transducer inputs.
  • Channel pairs programmable via 3500 Rack Configuration Software to perform up to two monitoring functions at a time.
  • Supports Radial Vibration, Thrust Position, Differential Expansion, Eccentricity, REBAM, Acceleration, Velocity, Shaft Absolute, and Circular Acceptance Region functions.
  • Front panel status LEDs including OK, TX/RX, and Bypass indicators.
  • Individual buffered transducer coaxial connectors on the front panel with short-circuit protection.
  • Provides 4 to 20 mA proportional recorder outputs for each channel.

Applications

  • Machinery protection and condition monitoring for critical industrial rotating equipment.
  • Radial vibration and thrust position measurement in turbomachinery.
  • Casing acceleration and velocity vibration monitoring.
  • Rolling element bearing activity monitoring using REBAM channels.
