Description

The HIMA F 7133 is a non-interactive 4-fold power distribution module designed for the H51q System Family to provide fuse monitoring and L- distribution. The module functions within the I/O subrack (occupying slots 18 to 21) to supply and protect I/O modules, sensor contacts, and actuator circuits. It incorporates four miniature fuses that provide line protection, with each fuse monitored via an internal evaluation logic block. Power for the I/O modules is fed into the rear side of the power distribution modules via XG. 7/8/9/10, allowing specific slots to allocate power to designated groups of I/O slots. Built-in failure signalization is achieved through dedicated front-panel LEDs and an integrated relay contact to report missing or faulty fuse states safely.

Features

  • Provides 4-channel power distribution with independent fuse protection for each current path.
  • Integrates evaluation logic to monitor the operational state of each miniature fuse continuously.
  • Features front-panel LED indicators that stay on when a path is functional, flash when a fuse is faulty or missing, and turn off if supply voltage fails.
  • Equipped with a safety-related relay contact that remains closed when all fuses are functional and de-energizes automatically if any fuse is missing or faulty.
  • Designed as a non-interactive module ensuring isolated line protection across subrack assemblies.

Applications

  • 24 V DC power supply and distribution for safe routing to I/O slots within HIMA safety subracks.
  • Fused power circuit distribution for external sensors and actuator contacts.
  • Failure-signaling and monitored power marshalling in industrial automation and safety-instrumented systems.

Technical Datasheet

HIMA F 7133 H51q System Family 4-Fold Power Distribution Module

What is the maximum rating permitted for the integrated fuses on this module?

The module permits a maximum of 4 A slow blow miniature fuses to handle line protection across each current path.

How does the device communicate an internal line fault or a missing fuse condition?

An internal evaluation logic drives front-panel status LEDs to flash, and opens an integrated relay contact (d22/z24) if a fuse is faulty or missing.

What is the typical reaction time associated with the safety signaling relay contact?

The relay contact features an operational switching time of approximately 100 ms.
