Description

Designed for direct decentralised installation on machinery without requiring protective control cabinets, the Beckhoff IP2041-B318 digital output module interfaces binary control signals with the PROFIBUS DP network. This Fieldbus Box accommodates eight digital outputs, each handling high load currents up to 2 A (with a total combined module current capacity of 12 A). The module uses space-saving M8 screw-type connectors for secure I/O coupling, and features an integrated B-coded M12 T-connector to simplify PROFIBUS loop-through cabling.

The IP2041-B318 supports DP-V1 extensions and can be configured through the KS2000 software suite or directly via the master controller. Its robust polyamide construction is sealed to IP67 standards, making it highly resilient against moisture, dust, and mechanical stress in demanding production environments.
