Decentralized I/O stations connect to the PROFIBUS network through the BK3010 Bus Coupler, which acts as the communications interface between the modular Beckhoff Bus Terminal system and the PROFIBUS DP fieldbus network. This device automatically handles the transmission of process data from the plug-in K-bus terminals to the higher-level master controller.
