Installation Guidelines

• Thread Engagement: Do not exceed 15 mm of thread engagement inside the bracket or machine housing to prevent mechanical binding of the M10 x 1 casing.
• Bend Radius: Maintain a minimum bend radius of 25 mm (1.0 inch) for the armored cable to avoid damage to the coaxial core and steel armor.
• Connector Care: Clean connection surfaces with a dry, lint-free cloth before joining ClickLoc connectors. Tighten only to finger-tight pressure.
• Gap Calibration: Establish the static operating gap within the linear range of the transducer system (typically 2.0 mm or 80 mils) using a voltmeter.
• Grounding: Connect the outer shield of the extension cable to the designated instrument ground terminal at the Proximitor sensor housing. Do not ground the probe tip or casing.
