Installation Guidelines

1. 1 De-energize the entire control cabinet and associated machinery. Follow all local Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to prevent accidental startup.
2. 2 Prepare the panel cutout according to the device's mechanical dimensions. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and provides adequate support.
3. 3 Secure the operator panel into the cutout using the appropriate mounting hardware. Ensure a proper seal is achieved if the application requires a specific IP rating.
4. 4 Connect the power supply wiring to the designated terminals. Verify the voltage matches the panel's requirements. Connect the functional earth (FE) or protective earth (PE) terminal to the cabinet's ground bus.
5. 5 Connect the communication cables (TTY, MPI/PPI) to the corresponding ports. Route cables away from high-voltage lines to minimize electromagnetic interference. Use shielded cables where specified.
6. 6 After all connections are verified, remove LOTO devices and re-energize the system. Proceed with software configuration and communication testing.
