Engineered to prevent process fluids and lubrication oil from migrating through the cable interior, this variant is ideal for pressurized bearing housings. It is supplied with a 1.0-meter total length, a standard miniature ClickLoc connector, and comes with CSA, ATEX, and IECEx hazardous area approvals to ensure safety in explosive environments.

This proximity probe functions as a non-contact sensor that continuously measures the static and dynamic distance between the probe tip and a target shaft. This data is critical for monitoring radial vibration, axial position, and speed on key rotating machinery such as steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, pumps, and generators. When paired with a 3300 XL Proximitor sensor and extension cable, the probe forms an exceptionally stable transducer system with high interchangeability and a linear range of 2.0 mm (80 mils).

Installation Guidelines

• Probe Gap Calibration: Verify that the probe gap is adjusted to the correct voltage (typically -10 VDC for standard midrange) per system calibration procedures before securing.
• Thread Engagement Limits: For 3/8-24 UNF threaded cases, do not exceed a maximum engagement length of 0.563 inches to prevent mounting threads from binding.
• Cable Handling: Ensure that the minimum cable bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 inch) is respected during routing to prevent internal conductor damage.
• Connector Connection: Wipe the gold ClickLoc connectors clean before mating. Finger-tighten until they "click." Do not use pliers or other tools on standard XL connections.
