Installation Guidelines

• Setting Probe Gap: Adjust the physical spacing between the probe tip and the target machine shaft to the nominal calibration gap of 1.27 mm (50 mils). This places the sensor at the midpoint of the linear output voltage curve.
• Thread Engagement Limits: Take care not to exceed maximum thread engagement of 0.563 inches (9/16 UNF standard) when threading the probe case into internal machine surfaces to prevent mechanical binding.
• Cable Routing: Keep a minimum cable bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) when routing the FluidLoc lead. Avoid routing proximity sensor wires directly adjacent to high-voltage conduits to prevent electrical interference.
• Connector Connection: ClickLoc coaxial connectors must be joined finger-tight to secure the internal gold-plated contact mechanism. Do not use heavy tools to tighten the mini-coaxial joint.
