When installing the extension cable, preserve a minimum bend radius of at least 25.4 mm (1.0 in) throughout the cable run to prevent core conductor degradation. Ensure that the gold-plated miniature ClickLoc connectors are completely dry, clean, and free of lubricants before mating. Hand-tighten the coaxial connectors, or use a torque wrench to tighten to the recommended maximum limit of 0.565 N-m (5 in-lb).
The integrated connector protector must be properly slid over the connection interface to keep out machinery oil and moisture. Do not apply silicone self-fusing tape inside the casing of the machine.
