Installation Guidelines

Ensure correct mounting and electrical practices during installation:

• Mount the Proximitor Sensor onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail. Ensure there is adequate clearance to slide the unit onto or off the rail.
• Keep total system length calibrated. The 330780-91-00 is a 9.0-meter system length sensor and must be matched with a probe and extension cable combination that totals 9.0 meters (e.g., 1.0 m probe + 8.0 m extension cable, or 5.0 m probe + 4.0 m extension cable).
• Ensure all field wiring terminals are tightened to specifications. Use 0.2 to 1.5 mm2 (16 to 24 AWG) shielded triad cable.
• Do not exceed the maximum field wiring distance of 305 meters (1000 feet) between the Proximitor Sensor and the monitoring monitor.
