Description

Designed for space-saving DIN rail mounting, the Beckhoff CX5120-0100 serves as a robust fanless controller within the CX5100 Embedded PC series. This industrial PC features an energy-efficient Intel Atom E3815 single-core processor operating at 1.46 GHz, making it well-suited for medium-scale automation tasks requiring direct EtherCAT or Bus Terminal integration. The module includes dual independent Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB 2.0 connectivity, and a DVI-D display interface, allowing for direct visual monitoring and fast network integration.

The controller is equipped with 2 GB of non-expandable DDR3 RAM and features separate slots for CFast and microSD cards to manage operating systems and application data. An integrated 1-second UPS protects volatile memory by saving up to 1 MB of persistent data to the CFast card during power loss events. For flexible I/O configurations, the CX5120-0100 automatically detects and supports either E-bus (EtherCAT) or K-bus (Bus Terminals) connections.
