Installation Guidelines

• Mounting: Mount directly to flat surfaces of machine frames using the two integrated 3.5 mm diameter fixing holes designed for M3 screws. Do not exceed recommended torque limits on plastic housing.
• Grounding: Ensure the mounting surface or grounding connection is electrically bonded to the machine ground potential to guarantee reliable EMC immunity.
• Cabling: Use shielded LiYCY 3 x 2 x 0.22 mm² (or equivalent) for Interbus network lines to prevent electromagnetic interference. Limit cable length between individual fieldbus boxes to 400 m.
• Environmental Protection: To maintain the IP67 protection rating, all unused M8, M23, and snap-type ports must be sealed with appropriate protective caps.
