Installation Guidelines

• Grounding: Ensure the transducer system is properly grounded via the Proximitor sensor housing and that shielding is maintained through the extension cable.
• Minimum Bend Radius: The armored coaxial cable has a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in). Avoid sharp bends or kinks during installation.
• Mounting Torque: Tighten the probe case to a maximum torque of 22.6 N-m (200 in-lbf). For standard forward-mount applications, do not exceed 7.5 N-m (66 in-lbf) on the first three threads.
• Probe Gap: Use the standard gap voltage of -10.0 Vdc (corresponding to approximately 1.27 mm / 50 mils) when calibration is done with a 3300 XL Proximitor sensor.
• Cable Protection: Run armored cabling through conduit or tray systems where exposed to heavy mechanical traffic or excessive fluids.
