This non-contacting eddy-current displacement sensor is configured with a 0.5-meter total cable length ending in a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector (Option 02) and is certified with multiple hazardous area approvals (Option 05). It is used to measure shaft vibration, radial position, or axial displacement in locations where reduced target size or limited installation clearances prevent the use of standard-sized proximity probes.

Installation Guidelines

• Cable Routing: Avoid routing coaxial cables in areas where they are subject to physical pinching or sharp bends. Maintain a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in).
• Case Mounting: Thread the probe into the mounting bracket or machine casing to the proper depth. For 3/8-24 UNF threads, do not exceed the maximum rated torque of 33.9 N m (300 in-lb); a recommended torque of 11.3 N m (100 in-lb) is suggested.
• Calibration Gap: Adjust the probe to a recommended gap of 1.0 mm (40 mils) from the target surface using a feeler gauge or by measuring the DC output voltage of the Proximitor sensor.
• Connector Protection: Ensure the ClickLoc connectors are kept clean and free of oil or moisture. Use silicone tape or connector protectors when installing in harsh environments.
