Installation Guidelines

• Ensure the probe is mounted with the correct probe gap (typically 1.27 mm or 50 mils for standard calibration) relative to the target surface.
• Route the probe cable with proper shielding and grounding practices to prevent electrical noise interference in the proximity chain.
• Adhere to the recommended mounting torque of 7.5 N-m (66 in-lbf) on the 3/8-24 UNF threads, avoiding the maximum rating of 11.2 N-m (100 in-lbf) to prevent binding.
• Do not exceed the minimum cable bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) during routing to preserve cable electrical properties and prevent core damage.
• Keep the miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector clean and free from oil or moisture prior to connection; tighten only finger-tight.
