Installation Guidelines

• Bend Radius: Do not exceed the minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) during routing to prevent attenuation or damage to the internal coaxial core.
• Connector Protectors: Although this option (00) does not include pre-installed connector protectors, using them is recommended if the cable connections are exposed to liquid spray or moisture.
• Silicone Tape Application: Use the self-fusing silicone tape supplied with the cable to wrap and isolate the probe-to-cable connector interface. Do not use silicone tape inside machine casings where turbine oil is present.
• Conduit Protection: Route the unarmored cable inside a dedicated protective metal conduit to safeguard against mechanical abrasion or cutting hazards.
• Connector Torque: Tighten coaxial connections finger-tight. If using tools, do not exceed the maximum allowable torque of 0.56 N m (5 in lb).
