Description

The Bently Nevada 330930-060-05-05 is a high-performance 3300 NSv Extension Cable designed for use within the 3300 XL NSv Proximity Transducer System. It is primarily engineered for centrifugal air compressors, refrigeration compressors, process gas compressors, and other fluid-filmed bearing machinery featuring tight installation constraints or small shaft targets. This extension cable features a total length of 6.0 meters , stainless steel armor protection without an FEP jacket, and integrated connector protectors.

Equipped with gold-plated brass ClickLoc connectors, the 330930-060-05-05 ensures secure interlocking field connections that prevent loosening due to machinery vibration. It is fully compatible and interchangeable with previous 3300 RAM proximity probe systems , facilitating straightforward upgrades in industrial environments with space or side-view restrictions.

Features

  • Part of the specialized 3300 XL NSv Proximity Transducer System designed for tight clearances and small targets.
  • Configured with a 6.0-meter cable length option.
  • Features flexible AISI 302 stainless steel armor for physical protection without an outer FEP jacket.
  • Includes pre-installed connector protectors on the ClickLoc interfaces to block liquid ingress.
  • Premium gold-plated brass ClickLoc connectors prevent unintended connection loosening.
  • Full electrical and mechanical compatibility with Bently Nevada 3300 RAM transducer systems.
  • Provides high tensile strength up to 220 N (50 lb) at the probe lead to extension cable interface.

Applications

  • Centrifugal air compressors and process gas compressors.
  • Industrial refrigeration compressors.
  • Radial vibration and radial position measurements on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 in).
  • Axial (thrust) position measurements on flat targets smaller than 15 mm (0.6 in).
  • Tachometer, zero speed, and phase reference (Keyphasor) signal routing.

Installation Guidelines

  • Length Matching: Ensure that the combined length of the extension cable and the proximity probe matches the total system length requirements specified by the Proximitor Sensor (5.0 meters or 7.0 meters system length).
  • Connection Torque: Connectors should be mated finger-tight. The maximum recommended tightening torque must not exceed 0.56 Nm (5 in lb).
  • Bend Radius Protection: Maintain a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) throughout the cable routing path to prevent attenuation or damage to the internal coaxial core.
  • Moisture Protection: Utilize the pre-installed connector protectors to seal the ClickLoc interfaces against fluid intrusion. Alternatively, silicone tape may be wrapped around connections, though it is not recommended if exposed to turbine oil.
