Installation Guidelines

• Probe Thread Mounting: Thread the 1/4-28 UNF-2A probe body into the bracket or mounting port. Recommended maximum torque is 5.1 N m (45 in lb). Do not exceed 7.3 N m (65 in lb) to avoid damaging the case.
• Target Gap Calibration: Set the mechanical gap between the probe tip and target to 1.0 mm (40 mils), which corresponds to the center of the 1.5 mm (60 mils) linear operating range.
• Connector Security: Ensure ClickLoc coaxial connectors are fully seated and clicked. For environmental sealing against moisture and oil, use self-fusing silicone tape (part number 03200006) on the connections.
